Ultimately, coaching is about helping someone learn how to use their body more effectively. Whether that’s for physical performance (like racing, or competition) or workplace performance (like creativity and productivity) we ultimately need our members to learn how to manage their functional state so they can take full advantage of the autonomy that brings. In this lecture, Dr. Bertram will define learning, and present a structure coaches can use to maximize the likelihood that what they communicate actually sticks.
