In this course, Nick will discuss the importance of coaching science within the context of a training system. He will place specific emphasis on theories of motor control, motor learning, and memory. Nick will then present a 3 component coaching model based on optimizing practice environment, improving instruction, and providing effective feedback. Finally, he will provide a robust list of coaching strategies used to improve the rate and quality of athlete/client learning.
