Description

Gain a unique understanding of functional anatomy, as you dive deep into the fascial web and its properties. Expanding your understanding of how myofascial lines and chain reactions work together to create global human function. Explore ways in which you can program movements to load the various lines and chain reactions for the purpose and capacity of your clients.

Learning Objectives

  • Students will learn that movement quality precedes all else. Expanding their understanding of how to restore effective and efficient movement to prepare the body for the demands of training, practicing and competing.
  • Students will learn the four properties of fascia and how they effect and influence global human function.
  • Students will learn how viscosity, plasticity, elasticity and remodeling for fascial tissue should be programmed.
  • Students will learn the 11 myofascial lines and their tracks, stations, and intersections. (Ref. Thomas Myers, Anatomy Trains)
  • Students will learn about the 6 chain reactions in three planes of motion (Ref. Gray Institute)
  • Students will learn which myofascial lines are influenced by the 6 chain reactions.
  • Students will learn how to load the lines and chain reactions with movement.
